About Hollowshock
Hollowshock Productions Ltd was formed back in 2020, but has been in the works for a long time. Starting off as two separate companies, 7 Way Productions and Cover Red films, we made small YouTube sketches and short films, slowly growing and developing our skills with each project. Our team have collectively graduated from the '2 Year Advanced Course at The International School of Screen Acting', 'Digital Film Production, Film Studies and Acting for Film at The University of Chichester' with Diplomas and Bachelor Honours. After our first official short film ‘God’s House’ back in 2019, 7 Way and Cover Red decided to conjoin to make Hollowshock Productions. We are a small, independent UK based film production company, who also produce showreels for actors. Our passion is storytelling, and our fuel is reality.

Meet the Team
Matthew Bearcroft
Co-founder
Graduating from the University of Chichester with a Bachelor Honours degree in 'Digital Film Production and Acting for Film', where he trained in editing, production, crew work and acting, Matthew brings a uniquely comprehensive skill set to the company. Deeply passionate about directing, some of his previous films (Aftermath-2019 and Synapse-2017) have been featured in film festivals such as Birmingham Film Fest and Making Waves Festival. Matthew also holds the Johnsons acting award for his performance in 'A Portrait'-2018. Matthew is a working DOP/camera operator and editor for many large projects bringing his skills to the industry.
Connor Howe
Co-founder
Having graduated from the International School of Screen Acting in London where he learned acting, directing, writing and editing, Connor has a widely in-depth knowledge of both acting for screen and filmmaking, and brings a deep understanding of the craft and its complexity to the company. Before graduating, Connor had already been a self-taught screen writer, actor, director, producer and editor, making many short films and sketches, and appearing in several short films.
Lloyd Deans
Co-founder
Lloyd graduated from the University of Chichester with a Bachelor Honours degree in 'Film Studies and Acting for Film', where he trained in a vast range of roles for film. Lloyd has appeared in many short films, music videos and productions both inside and out of studies, featuring in Festivals. As well as acting, Lloyd is a working camera operator and editor bringing his skills behind the camera, working on budgeted projects as crew. Lloyd brings a lot of energy and passion to directing new people in film.
